Our Kids' Voices: My Name is Shiquita Nelson and I Love Brain Forest

Our Kids are the most important part of our work. This week, we are highlighting student voices from the Brain Forest Summer Academy. Check out the first contributor to our blog, 6th grader from Floyd Elementary, Shiquita Nelson! 

Hi, my name is Shiquita Nelson and I’m in the 6th grade. I attended Floyd Elementary school. I have been in this program for three years. I love to learn at this program. My favorite thing to do is to go to Starbase and learn. We do excellent activities, our teachers give us respect and we give them the same respect they give us.

In Brain Forest, they keep us safe too. I really thank them so much for what they do for us. I will have an awesome school year! I have learned to read even better than before. In conclusion, I would like to thank everyone for helping the Brain Forest Academy.
