We are excited to announce that Whitney Coleman has joined us at MEF!
Whitney serves as the Programs Assistant and is tasked with being the central information unit, making sure MEF operates in the most efficient manner possible, and assisting with the duties of each coordinator and director at MEF.
She is passionate about children receiving a well rounded equitable education that includes the arts, personal and professional development.
Whitney is a 2018 graduate of Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She brings to MEF a host of experiences rooted in the Montgomery community. Whitney has served as a volunteer at Common Ground assisting with administration, after school tutoring, Summer Resident Mission and the annual Christmas Store. She has also interned with the Alabama State Council on the Arts and is a member of the Artistic Literacy Consortium where she assists with equity guidelines for the Plan for Arts Administration.
