The Brain Forest Blog: A Teacher's View

Brain Forest has made such an impact on my educational career! The emphasis on instructional creativity allows me to work with a sense of freedom. In order to ensure 100% student engagement, Brain Forest has forced me out of my creative and technological comfort zones. I am eager to try new activities and websites. I am so thankful for the weekly professional development that I am privileged to receive during my season with Brain Forest. Brain Forest has truly planted seeds that are growing and sprouting with both the students and teachers. Students get a chance to engage with hands-on activities, crafts, and technological tools. Brain Forest is truly making a difference!

Ms. Mace is a 5th Grade Teacher in the Brain Forest Summer Learning Academy. Throughout the school year, she is a 3rd Grade Teacher at Morningview Elementary School. She says that, "My students inspire me to reach beyond my limits, to research and develop innovative strategies and resources, and to always strive to be the best teacher that I can be!"
