FOUR MPS SCHOOLS RECEIVE MONEY FROM MONTGOMERY EDUCATION FOUNDATION’S FOURTH ANNUAL BRAIN BRAWL

Four Montgomery Public schools received monetary prizes from the Montgomery Education Foundation’s (MEF) fourth annual “Brain Brawl Trivia Challenge”. Teams representing Auburn University Montgomery (AUM), Brew Tech High School, The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program at AUM, and B.T.W. High School participated on Thursday, October 19, in a night of trivia, earning funds for their chosen schools. Individuals from each team were present to present the schools with their awards last week.

1st Place: Capitol Heights Middle - $1,500

2nd Place: Peter Crump Elementary - $1,000

2nd Place: Brew Tech Magnet High School - $1,000

3rd Place: B.T.W. Magnet High School $750

Over 20 teams competed on behalf of Montgomery public schools of their choice at the Brain Brawl. The event was hosted by WSFA's Tonya Terry and all proceeds benefited MEF's growing programs and initiatives including the Brain Forest Summer Academy, Reading on Wheels, and the We C.A.N. Network.
