MONTGOMERY STUDENTS DEFEAT THE SUMMER SLIDE

For the fourth year in a row, the Montgomery Education Foundation hosted the Brain Forest Summer Academy, a 5-week academic enrichment program dedicated to defeating the "summer slide" for Montgomery's public school students. Over 240 students this summer participated in our program where they were engaged daily in a project-based learning environment including a grade level appropriate novel study and math. Students also covered STEM, financial literacy, the arts, and received exciting daily recreation. Through the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, families, and program staff the results of this summer showed ZERO loss for these rising 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students!

Thank you to our sponsors:
